More than 4,000 students at two schools in Udon Thani practiced their knowledge of helmet wearing during extracurricular activities from June 18-20. Funded by The UPS Foundation, Helmets for Kids engaged the Udon Thani community and schools by organizing discussions with traffic police about law enforcement and with the provincial governor about the awareness throughout the town on road safety issues, particularly motorcycle helmets. Traffic police also visited Ban Makkhang School and Nong Sumrong Wittaya School to review traffic rules and the importance of helmet wearing with students and parents.
