Since 2012, AIP Foundation and Johnson & Johnson have partnered to provide helmets and road safety education to students at schools throughout central and southern Vietnam through the Helmets for Kids program. For the 2017-2018 school year, continued its programming at 14 project schools throughout Vietnam. Between the helmet handovers in September 2017 and the year-end helmet observations, average helmet use rates increased from 57% to 94%. Helmets for Kids will continue operating in the 2018 – 2019 school year and expand to Thai Nguyen Province.
