On 8 January, AIP Foundation hosted an online workshop that provided an introduction to the Training-of-Trainers (ToT) capacity-building package under the Fondation Botnar and FIA Foundation-funded AI&Me: Empowering Youth for Livable Cities project.
Participants included 46 government representatives and core teachers from 22 project target schools in An Giang and Vinh Long provinces. The workshop began with an introduction to the objectives and activities of the AI&Me program by Trang Truong, Senior Program Manager at AIP Foundation, and was facilitated by Mr. Jorge Leonardo Gomez Ayala, Capacity Development Manager at Youth for Road Safety (YOURS).
Mr. Jorge Leonardo Gomez Ayala shared the training package, which includes two days of online study through the YOURS Academy and three days of in-person Training of Trainers (ToT). He also guided the teachers on how to register and study on the platform. The workshop aimed to prepare core teachers with foundational knowledge of the project framework and to introduce the online learning resources available on the YOURS Academy platform.
By strengthening participating teachers’ understanding and readiness prior to the in-person ToT, the activity ensured more effective participation during the capacity building course and deeper engagement with planned ToT training content, along with smoother implementation of subsequent school-based road safety activities.
