BANGKOK, Thailand - December 20, 2018

AIP Foundation attended the launch of the World Health Organization’s 2018 Global Status Report on Road Safety at Grand Mercure Bangkok Fortune in Bangkok. Despite a slight decrease in the total number of road fatalities, which now stands at 22,491 per year, motorcycle deaths remain high and young people aged 15-29 still account for the majority of the country’s road deaths. Moving forward, responsible agencies will have to work together to come up with appropriate measures to address these key areas.
